Training available to Boys involved with Royal Rangers. Any district may attend training taught in North Texas
GMA Ceremonies
In 2011, there was a total of 22 Gold Medals of Achievement earned by Rangers in North Texas.
To date in 2012, there have been 3 Gold Medal of Achievement presented in North Texas.
A GMA ceremony honoring Jeremy Morgan and Jeremy Seth Caldwell from First A/G in Garland is pending.
Leaders Training
There is a Training Academy Scheduled for fall 2012. If you are interested in being a Certified Instructor please contact Rick Adkinson. There will be no application posted on the website. You must contact Rick Adkinson for information and applications. If you have any questions please contact Rick Adkinson.
Boys Training
Boys Training for 2012 is currently being planned. It will be posted once completed.

Junior Training Camp
North Texas Junior Leadership Training Academy
JTC is a camp for Royal Rangers who are at least 13 years old, or have completed the 7th grade. JTC is designed to give boys training in camping and leadership in their local outpost. JTC trains boys in these specific areas: The Patrol Method, Cooking, Lashing, Nature Study, Compass, Camp Safety, Soul Winning, Junior Leadership, Council Fires, Camp Recreation, and Overnight Backpacking Trips. Boys will work in patrols to accomplish each days activities and guided recreation designed to build leadership skills which can be applied in their outpost.
This camp is currently not scheduled in the North Texas District.
